With a background in writing, editing, and design, Susan Bregman has particular expertise in communicating technical information to diverse audiences She can help you prepare reports, proposals, grant applications, project marketing materials, and web pages.
Susan is knowledgeable about the emerging field of social media, with hands-on experience maintaining blogs, Facebook pages, and Twitter accounts. She edits The Transit Wire, which uses a blog format to provide daily updates about transit technology, and manages a complementary Facebook page for the site. She has been invited to speak about how transit agencies use social media at transportation conferences, including Rail-Volution, APTA TransiTech, ITS World Congress, Transportation Research Board Annual Meeding, and CTAA EXPO. She currently is researching how transit agencies use social media for the Transit Cooperative Research Program.
Susan wrote and designed the Guidebook for Developing Welfare-to-Work Transportation Services, which was published by the Transit Cooperative Research Program, and she has developed web pages for transit associations, nonprofits, community-based organizations, and small businesses.
As marketing team leader at a transportation consulting firm, Susan prepared proposals and other marketing materials, and she has developed project newsletters and fact sheets to support public involvement activities.
